In order to acquire the highest market value and elevate your home above other homes in the area, I have provided a couple tips. First impressions are often what drive buyers decisions, so it is important to wow them from the start.



Below are some recommended tips and suggestions to obtain highest market value.


EXTERIOR

  • Keep grass freshly cut

  • Remove yard clutter

  • Apply fresh paint to any areas needing a touch up

  • Weed and lay fresh mulch to garden beds

  • Clean all windows inside and out

  • Tighten and clean all door handles

  • Ensure gutters and down spouts are firmly attached


INTERIOR

  • Remove excessive wall hangings, furniture and knickknacks

  • Clean or paint walls, where needed

  • Shampoo/professionally clean carpets

  • Clean and organize cabinets and closets

  • Repair any plumbing leaks, slow drains, or loose fixtures

  • Clean and dust all light fixtures


PREPARING FOR SHOWINGS

  • Turn on all lights, and open drapes during the day

  • Secure or remove any pets

  • Infuse home with comforting scents, candles or wall plugs

  • Vacate the property for all showings at least 10 minutes prior
